Apple Tree cottage at Ophir Valley cabins is a beautiful and secluded location for you to enjoy your next getaway. With the best that the Australian bush has to offer you will be within a short walking distance of a stunning waterfall and many other secret and untouched creeks and trills. You will have access to Mullion Creek reserve and Fourth Crossing reserve. Both reserves border the property in which your getaway cabin is located. The property and reserves are full of Australian wildlife, waking up to kangaroos and wallabies outside your front door is quite common, wombats and platypus have both been spotted in the reserves and we have a variety of birdlife depending on the season ranging from King Parrots, Eastern Lorikeets and if you're a keen bird spotter there is also a family of Black Yellow Tailed Cockatoos. We are always available to point you in the direction of the local watering holes which make for great swimming in the summer and any walks that only we know about. The local reserves and creeks also offer great opportunities for gold prospecting with a historical mine shafts for the public to explore at the Ophir Reserve,this is also a hot spot for locals. The Cabin is set in amongst a growing farm, of 280 acres. Families are welcome to help collect fresh farm eggs, or tend to the horses in the rolling back paddocks if you're up for a ride in the ute.
